i know Ft Smith isnt really quite NWA, but when i lived there two years ago, i often enjoyed breakfast at Benson's Grill. There were always all different walks of life in there, and most of them were friendly enough to actually talk to, i have made several friends there.

I'm not sure if Flapjack's is still open, but I ate their breakfast buffet one morning, and it was pretty good. They're in Bentonville off Walton in a motel buidling.
