| Amish Friendship Bread Submitted by: Anna Yeow-McMillan Preparation: When you are making this bread, be sure that you do not use any metal utensils or bowls. I find that it is easiest to make the starter in gallon-size freezer bags. Doing this not only makes it easy to distribute the starters to your friends but then they can also be frozen to be used at a later time. As the recipe ferments, the bag will fill with air.
