On these very hot days of July and August I most probably will not be walking unless it is a little later in the evening, say starting at 6:45pm or perhaps in the morning before 8am. The schedule for walking would be the same - I missed walking yesterday July 24th because of the humidity index. Our next walking days following the same schedule would be July 29th, Aug 7th, Aug 12th, Aug 21st, Aug 26th. I can't promise I'll be at J.B. Hunt Walking Trail each of these days - but there's nothing that says you could be there. The full walking distance is 1.5 miles. A lap time of 30 minutes or 3 mph is quite good for people in my age group. If you're a little younger say 30-40 you might strive for 4 mph or a lap time of 15 minutes. The meetup times for the above dates would be 6:45pm under the East Pavilion. If I'm not there at that time just go ahead a take a walk.

NWA Walkers July 10th meetup was attended by 3 people we walked 1 lap of the entire course which I would estimate is 2 miles. The time to beat next time is 32 minutes.

Get you shoes on for some more walking! Join us every week at JB Hunt Park at the East Pavillion 6:15pm every other Tuesday and every other Thursday.

Beginning this Thursday July 10th at 6:15pm and if you can make it on this day try to make it on Tuesday July15th at 6:15pm East Pavillion.

I know I've missed alot of coffe meetups but have really been busy trhing to get our house ready to sell but that's all done and the surgery I had on my shoouler is alot better. Looking forward to walking!! Teresa
