About Me:
I am happily married to my beautiful bride Alice, whom I met in Singapore in 1970, while on an engineering assignment to the Singapore Ministry of Defense. We have three wonderful children: Rob (32) who is a WWU graduate and is employed by T-Mobile, in marketing; Terrence (22), also a graduate of WWU, and is employed by the federal government; and, our pride and joy Marie, who is a senior at the University of Washington, majoring in both biology and chemistry.
I am a WW2 US Navy veteran (1945-1949) and served aboard the USS Moale, DD-693 for three years. I'm also a Korean War US Army veteran (1949-1955), and served in Korea, in an artillery unit (1950-1951). I was honorably discharged, as a Sergeant (E-5) in 1955 and employed by Hughes Aircraft Company (1955-1962) in Field Engineering, supporting airborne Fire Control systems aboard USAF ADC squadrons. I joined Litton Industries (1962-1996), serving as a Field Engineer, supporting USN and USMC squadrons aboard USN aircraft carriers, as well as USMC bases in Asia. I retired from Litton in 1996 and have been doing basically NOTHING productive since I retired. I'm seem to be reasonably content.
